Tas Labor Makes Election Education Pitch

Tasmania's opposition has unveiled its education plan for the state, promising to hire hundreds of teachers and support staff over four years.

Labor leader Rebecca White announced the $63 million dollar package piala dunia 2018 on Tuesday in the second week of campaigning ahead of the March 3 poll.

"We know that our teachers are stretched to breaking point and we cannot hope to get the best from them or for our students without providing additional capacity to allow them the time they need to teach," she said of the plan, which aims to hire more than 300 teachers and support staff.
