A grieving Simone Callahan looked heartbroken on Wednesday morning as she stepped out in to run some errands, just hours before her ex-husband is set to be honoured at a star-studded state memorial at the MCG.  
The 52-year-old yoga instructor kept her head down as she returned to her car after picking up some supplies at a shopping centre.
The sighting comes as Simone and Shane's son Jackson, 22, said that saying goodbye to his father while sitting in the grandstand named after the cricket great will be 'pretty special'. 
Shane's memorial at the Melbourne Cricket Ground will be held Wednesday night at 7pm following the legend's death at age 52 in Thailand on March 4.

Just days after Shane's death, the MCG decided to rename its Great Southern Stand to the Shane Warne Stand, which will be unveiled at the memorial.

Jackson told Jam TV - owned by family friend Eddie McGuire - the MCG is the perfect place to farewell his father because he had so many great moments on the ground.
'I think there's no other better place in the whole world for Melburnians, Victorians, Australians and people from around the world that loved him as a cricketer and a mate - to come and say goodbye,' he said.
'He's got a statue out the front, and to have a grandstand named after him now is just unbelievable.'

McGuire also talked up the major event set for Wednesday at a press conference and revealed the big names attending, including sporting stars, actors and http://mnhlab.kau.ac.kr/xe/index.php?mid=board_qAHw62&document_srl=93878 international music artists.
'It's building into something quite spectacular,' McGuire told the press in an address on Tuesday.

'The stage has been set on the MCG now.'
'This is going to be one of the great events in the history of the city and this country in many ways,' he said enthusiastically.

At least 50,000 people have taken up the seat allocation at the MCG for the funeral, with tickets still available.
McGuire revealed the big names coming to the ceremony including Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Allan Border, Eric Bana, Greg Norman, Michael Clarke, Sam Newman, Sachin Tendulkar, Andy Lee, Ray Martin, Mark Taylor, Stephen Fleming, Ian Botham, Aaron Hamill Glenn McGrath and Kelly Slater. 
International artists Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin, Robbie Williams will sing dedicated performances to Shane during Wednesday's memorial. 
Local artists Anthony Callea and Jon Stevens will also perform on stage.
'I mean this is something, when you look at it from a concert point of view, that is almost unprecedented here in Australia,' McGuire continued.
'From a sportsman's point of view, it's unprecedented.

And from the fact that it's a state funeral, state memorial, takes it to a new level again.'

Just days after Shane's death, Simone shared a heartbreaking tribute to the legendary cricketer.  
She posted never-before-seen photos and home movies of him spending time and playing with the couple's three children.
'Shane's greatest Love, Our children Brooke, Jackson & Summer.

Shane was taken too soon from their young lives,' she wrote in the caption.
Eternal love remains & will never leave. Vale Shane.'
Another captured the sportsman riding a rollercoaster with his kids.
A home movie taken at what looks to be a birthday party showed Shane attempting to teach his young son how to bounce a ball using his head.
The slideshow was played to Frank Sinatra's hit song, My Way.
