Ivory Coast Cocoa Grind Up 65.6 Y y In May Exporters Say

ABIDJAN, June 16 (Reuters) - Ivory Coast's cocoa grind was up nearly 65.6% year-on-year in May to 53,000 tonnes, data from the exporters' association GEPEX showed on Thursday.

Total grind from the start of the 2021/22 season on Oct.
1 stood at 417,000 tonnes of beans by the end of the May, compared to 376,000 tonnes at the same point last season.

The GEPEX data covers six of the largest grinding companies, including Barry Callebaut, Olam International and Cargill Inc.

Ivory Coast has a total grinding capacity of 712,000 tonnes.
