Heavily pregnant Rihanna and boyfriend  were caught up in a scare on Tuesday night as they witnessed comic Dave Chappelle being tackled on stage by a man armed with a gun that contained a hidden knife, according to the cops.
The comedian was rushed on stage just moments after he joked that he'd had to increase his security in light of his trans jokes at the Netflix is a Joke festival.
Singer Rihanna, 34, was in the audience when the attack took place and watched on in shock alongside her rapper boyfriend, 33, who was arrested on April 20 for assault with a deadly weapon and was accused of approaching a man he knew on the street before firing several shots at him.
Comic Michael Blackson, 49, shared an Instagram post with the couple as he joked in the caption that he 'thought I was going to have to deliver a baby' as Rihanna attended the event while her due date rapidly approaches.
The pop queen put her burgeoning baby bump on display as she donned a an olive green bra top teamed with a denim midi skirt and electric blue jacket.
The Grammy-winning stunner wore her hair down in a combination of straight locks and braids, as she posed alongside her friend and boyfriend in a snap taken just half an hour before the shocking attack on stage.

'All this happened 30 mins before some rapper with 3,000 mixtapes and no album attacked my nee*a Dave. The clout chaser ended up with a new eye and two left arms. Yesterday security is not today's security lol.'
In the incident Michael referenced, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told the AP that a 23-year-old man named Isaiah Lee was arrested in connection with assault with a deadly weapon after tackling a 'famous comedian' during his performance.
Lee - who carried a replica handgun with a fold-out blade - was swarmed by security guards in the attack, and later taken away from the venue via ambulance. After he was tended to by medics, Lee was booked into jail and held in custody in lieu of $30,000 bail, police said.
Tackled: During the show the attacker launched at Chappelle, 48, seconds after the comic had joked about beefing up his security after his controversial comments about trans people last year
Chappelle was uninjured and carried on with the show, which was on the final evening of a four-show stint at the famed facility for the Netflix Is a Joke festival.
Lee was tackled by security guards who appeared to break his arm in the melee. He is described as weighing 140lbs and is 5ft 11.
Also present for the incident was Chris Rock, who took the mic and asked, 'Was that Will Smith?' following the actor's infamous slap of the comic at the Oscars in March.
Target: Dave Chapelle was rushed on stage just moments after he joked that he'd had to increase his security in light of his trans jokes (pictured last week)
Chapelle's rep Carla Sims said in a statement following the incident, 'The performances by Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl were epic and record-breaking and he refuses to allow last night's incident to overshadow the magic of this historic moment. As unfortunate and unsettling as the incident was, Chappelle went on with the show.'
Chappelle came under fire last year over jokes about trans people in his Netflix comedy literary definition show The Closer.
During the controversial special, he made one comment stating that 'gender is a fact', prompting Netflix staff to protest and mass outrage on social media against some of his jokes.
He also shared his backing for JK Rowling, who has also attracted criticism for her remarks about biological sex.
In the special, he stated that he does not hate transgender people, and tells a long anecdote about a trans woman comic, who he describes as a friend, who came to his defense in earlier entanglements with the community.
Chappelle added: 'Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth. That is a fact.'
In the contentious special, Chappelle also joked that women today view transwomen the same way black people might view white women wearing blackface, and remarked that women are entitled to feel anger toward transwomen, since Caitlyn Jenner won Glamour magazine's 2015 Woman of the Year award.
'I'd be mad as sh*t if I was a woman,' Chappelle said.
The star also joked about the anatomy of transwomen, joking that they lacked real female reproductive organs and that they did not have blood but 'beet juice'.
The comments prompted calls for Netflix to take down the show, but boss Ted Sarandos told staff that 'content on screen doesn't translate to real-world harm'.
Suspect: Isaiah Lee, 23, was swarmed by security guards in the attack, and later taken away from the venue via ambulance. After he was tended to by medics, Lee was booked into jail and held in custody in lieu of $30,000 bail, police said.

Chapelle's latest show was attended by several celebrities, including Beyonce, Madonna, Christina Milian and Karrueche Tran, who witnessed the comic being tackled on stage.
Rihanna and A$AP's eventful date night comes just weeks after the rapper was arrested in connection with a November 2021 shooting on April 20 in Los Angeles at LAX airport, as he returned to the United States after a getaway with Rihanna to her native Barbados.
The Praise the Lord rapper was under probe from authorities in connection with the incident, which occurred in California, reported.
Officials said that the victim in the alleged incident told authorities that the Yamborghini High artist 'approached him with a handgun on the street' and 'shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand.'

A$AP, who was released hours later after posting $550,000 bond, is slated to appear in court August 17.
The L$D rapper performed for the first time April 30 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California as part of the 2022 Smoker's Club Fest, with Rihanna seen at the venue dancing to one of his songs.
If convicted, A$AP could face up to one year jail time, a $1,000 fine and misdemeanor probation, per California Penal Code. If he received a felony assault with a deadly weapon conviction, Mayers could spend up to four years in state prison, be fined up to $10,000 and have mandatory probation
The incident is not his first run-in with the law. The rapper was arrested in Sweden in 2019 after a fight broke out on the street between his entourage and two men.
He was convicted of assault, issued a suspended prison sentence and required to pay more than $1,000 in damages. He reportedly served a month in jail before his sentence was handed down.
Celebrity guests: Beyonce and Jay-Z were among the billionaire stars in attendance at the Dave Chappelle show where an armed man with a knife and replica gun tackled the comedian
Stars: Madonna, 63, (left) was also in attendance and looked pensive as she headed to Nice Guy restaurant with friends after the event while Karrueche Tran (right) left the show with her hand over her mouth alongside Christina Millian and pals
The performer, raised in New York City's Harlem neighborhood, also was charged with attempted murder at 16.
A$AP, who started selling drugs as a youth, was reportedly bullied by an older man. He went to the alleged bully's house to confront him and ended up shooting at him.
The teen, who was carrying a gun for protection, said he thought the alleged bully was reaching for a weapon. He claimed he never intended to shoot the man.
'I just started letting off,' Mayers said of the confrontation. 'I ain't wanted to hit him. They hit me with attempted murder at first, then it kept getting dropped down.'
Mayers was arrested shortly after the shooting and spent time at the city's infamous jail on Rikers Island. However, due to his age and the nature of the incident, the attempted murder charges were reduced.
