A new season brings new hopes and dreams for football fans, and ambitions for the next campaign are sure to be in overload after Leicester City's stunning Premier League title win.

But it also brings new kits and, for many parents intent on getting their football mad child the latest new strips, empty wallets too.
With many top flight clubs releasing up to three new kits a year in this modern age it can be tough to keep track of what is new, what is old and judging by a few suspect pictures online, what is just an outright fake.
So keep track of all the Premier League kits as they are released throughout the summer of 2016 as we post them all on this page and give them a rating too.
  ARSENAL

HOME KIT
Arsenal's new design was created by Puma, who they signed a £30million-a-year deal with for five seasons back in 2013, and was modelled by first team stars including Olivier Giroud, Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla.
Puma have taken inspiration from managers, players and historic moments that defined the club throughout the 1990's but have put their own modern spin on the new creation.
A good idea and nearly executed very well - but that red stripe down the front could take some getting used too...

The club also revealed that Alexis Sanchez will wear the No 7 shirt next season and previously have the No 17
Bellerin took to Twitter saying: 'Here's my new @PUMAFootball @Arsenal kit!!

What you guys thinking?'
AWAY AND THIRD KIT
Arsenal showed off their brand new away and third kits for the upcoming season at a launch event in Los Angeles.
German sports manufacturers Puma - who took over from Nike as kit supplier in 2014, have delivered a return to a traditional yellow away kit after the Gunners wore gold last season.
The third shirt is a dark number and is to be worn predominately in cup games, with shock yellow for the detail and socks.

BOURNEMOUTH

HOME KIT
After a stunning first season in the Premier League which saw Bournemouth comfortably retain their top flight status against the odds, the last thing the Cherries will want to do is get complacent.
And the Cherries are certainly not taking many chances off the field, releasing a new home strip very similar to the one worn in the 2015-16 campaign.
Aside from the stripes now going all the way up the jersey - there is very little change on the home kit.

Makes you wonder why it was worth the alteration at all.

AWAY KIT
Bournemouth's new away kit for the 2016-17 Premier League season includes a light blue shirt with navy hooped stripes, featuring white rims on the edge of the shirt sleeves and top of the socks.
The Cherries, who finished 16th in their first-ever top-flight season last term, played their away fixtures during that campaign in blue and black.

The new tint, complete with a rounded buttoned collar, could get its first run out in the league when Eddie Howe's men travel to West Ham on August 20.

BURNLEY

HOME KIT
After just a year away Burnley are back in the top flight and to celebrate their is a brand new home strip for Clarets supporters to feast their eyes on.
Puma once again are the kit designers and while there is nothing too fancy going on it's a tidy enough effort as the claret shirt includes a contrasting blue shoulder panel that carries down the sleeve and into a large blue cuff.
The major change sees the return of white shorts - last seen when Sean Dyche's team were relegated from the Premier League last season - but predominately white socks are retained.

  CHELSEA

HOME KIT
Following the worst ever defence of a Premier League title by any team, it should come as little surprise that Chelsea were one of the first sides to turn their attention towards next season by unveiling their 2016-17 home strip.
It's more of the same too, it's blue, it's made by adidas and it's still sponsored by Yokohama Tyres but there are noticeable differences - including the woven in rampant lion from the club crest and the adidas stripes featuring down the inside of the shirt as opposed to the sleeves.
Many Blues fans were skeptical on its release - calling it a pyjama top - but we think it could grow on supporters, especially if it fires them back to the top of the table.

AWAY AND THIRD KIT
Chelsea have revealed their new away strip for the 2016-17 season, with a slightly unfamiliar design that features an unusual fabric, luminous yellow trim and horizontal stripes.
The west London club described the new kit on their official website as 'the striking new design combines engineered melange stripe fabric in grey and black with neon yellow accents, short shoulder stripes, a two-colour crest and an engineered collar tape featuring ‘Chelsea FC' text.'
Chelsea have also released their new third kit for next season that boasts a more simplistic style of white with royal blue trim around the neck and sleeves.

  CRYSTAL PALACE
HOME KIT
There's not been many Crystal Palace home kits down the years with a blue as dominant as this, but full marks for effort to designers Macron who have a new twist to the Eagles kit.
Palace have donned variations of the red and blue stripes since 1973 when they were introduced by legendary boss Malcolm Allison.
The shorts and socks will also be predominately blue as has been the case since 2011.

AWAY KIT
Inspiration comes from two sources for Crystal Palace's new away kit, as macron combine two elements from yesteryear to provide the new change strip.
Yellow has been associated as the Eagles' lucky change colour over the years, and it was first used in 1971, while the sash has been a feature of Palace kits stretching back to the 1975/76 season.
Either way it's an absolute winner and will look the part on any away day over the 2016-17 campaign.

  EVERTON
HOME KIT
Everton have revealed their home kit for the 2016-17 season, inspired by Goodison Park.
The new strip features the coordinates of the club's famous, old stadium in the back of the neck of the shirt.
And in another nod to the Toffees' home, the criss-cross architectural signature of Archibald Leitch, who designed the Bullens Road stand, can also be found on next season's shirt.

AWAY KIT
Everton have released their new away kit for the 2016-17 season with the design reflecting upon one of the proudest moments in the club's history.
The change strip - which draws inspiration from their first league title win in 1890-91, is once again supplied by Umbro and offers a clean look, predominately navy with salmon trim.
While the shirt is indeed a nod to an historic time, it is also packed with plenty of modern technology.

  HULL CITY

HOME KIT
Hull are back in the big time after promotion to the Premier League and to help mark their return to the top flight the club have revealed a new home shirt which features the return of white trim.
The colour has not been seen on a home strip for 10 years but helping form the trim around the y-neck jersey and the sleeves, it fits well alongside the widened black and amber stripes.
It's a decent take from Umbro on the club's traditional colours but can they beat relegation with it?

AWAY KIT
Hull have revealed their new black and amber away kit for the 2016-17 season as the club look forward to returning to Premier League action.
To celebrate the club's extended partnership with the Tigers Trust, the charity's logo will feature on the front during their first four pre-season matches.

Players will then sign these shirts and they will be donated to the Trust.

LEICESTER CITY

HOME KIT
Leicester City have unveiled the Puma shirt which will be worn next season when they begin the defence of their Barclays Premier League crown.
The Foxes produced one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time when they clinched the top-flight title and the new design will see them don the gold Premier League patch.
But the new Premier League patch, which is worn by the league champions the following campaign, isn't the only change with Puma opting for a different design next term.
A geometric jacquard pattern is used on the body and sleeves rather than this season's plain blue style while a gold stripe features on both the shirt and shorts.

AWAY KIT
Red has been the dominant colour of Premier League champions and Leicester are looking to channel that as they head into their title defence with an eye-catching away strip.
Like their new home attire the Foxes away day get-up is punctuated with subtle stripes but these run diagonally, fading to create a lighter red a the bottom of the shirt.
Leicester last wore red away from home in the 2014-15 season when they miraculously avoided relegation with an impressive late run.
Puma say the new colour and design are a tribute to Claudio Ranieri's players fearlessness in their remarkable title-winning campaign.

THIRD KIT
Leicester City have launched a new third kit, which could conceivably make its debut when the Premier League champions play Liverpool at Anfield on September 10.
The Foxes are synonymous with their usual royal blue attire but Claudio Ranieri's side will wear the new white strip whenever they play away against opponents whose jerseys feature blue and red, the predominant colours of their first and second-choice kits.
In theory, then, this would be the kit Ranieri's men would wear if they landed a dream Champions League match-up with Barcelona in the Nou Camp.

  LIVERPOOL
HOME KIT
Liverpool revealed their new kit for the 2016-17 campaign at a special yalla shoot live [mouse click the up coming post] event in front of fans.
Reds supporters made their way down to the Pier Head for the unveiling to witness Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho, Simon Mignolet, Jon Flanagan and ladies players Gemma Bonner and Natasha Harding model the famous shirt in May
Unsurprisingly, the shirt remains trademark red and there is little change from the previous number, other than a buttoned-style collar complete with gold trim to create a simplistic design.
New Balance are again the kit's supplier with Standard Chartered continuing as the main sponsor and if you fancy getting your hands on one, it will set you back £50.

However, should you prefer the long-sleeved version, it will be an extra £5.

AWAY KIT
Liverpool's away kit for the upcoming 2016-17 campaign has been inspired by the club's first European Cup victory in 1977 and the distinct designs on the cover of the programme for the game.
Just over 40 years on from their triumph over Borussia Monchengladbach in Rome, the Reds have paid tribute to the side which lifted the prestigious trophy at the Stadio Olimpico.
The away kit has been designed in black, red and a silver trim has been detailed on the front.

It also includes the iconic Liver bird crest to commemorate the club's first of five European victories.

THIRD KIT
Liverpool have revealed a bold new look after launching their lime green third kit ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The Anfield club unveiled their new third strip during a live Facebook broadcast from the social media giant's headquarters at Menlo Park, California, close to the Reds' pre-season base in Palo Alto.
Liverpool have based the kit on the programme design for their 2001 UEFA Cup victory over Alaves in Dortmund, with the lime green shirt with grey shoulders described as being 'toxic and thunder' in colour.

  MANCHESTER CITY
HOME KIT

Promoting the strip on their website, the club claimed: 'Befitting Guardiola's renowned attention to detail, the club's new match and training apparel incorporates cutting-edge Nike AeroSwift technology designed to enhance mobility, reduce weight and remove the distractions that hamper performance.
'The new home kit combines the club's traditional City blue with darker blue detailing that takes its cues from the colour of the new crest's text and trim.'
The word 'CITY' is also included on the back of the collar, while 'EST 1894' features on the inside of the cuffs.

AWAY KIT
Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi used Manchester City's pre-season tour of China to unveil the club's brand new away kit
The new kit, with a nod to City's history, is inspired by the worker bee which has been synonymous with the city of Manchester since the late 19th century.
All three colours of black, burgundy and yellow have featured on a Man City change strip, with neat results, in recent years but combined together it all looks a bit of a mess.

  MANCHESTER UNITED
HOME KIT
Manchester United have launched their new adidas home kit with 'two halves' ahead of Jose Mourinho's first season in charge.
The home shirt features a design in which, divided vertically, each side of the jersey has a different hue, with one a crimson red colour, and the other a scarlet red.
In the second year of their partnership with United, adidas has taken cues from the north-west side's illustrious history, with the two-tone red split design evoking the yellow and green two-tone Newton Heath kit of 1878.

AWAY KIT
Manchester United have revealed their new away strip for the 2016-17 season with a return to the blue often used for their change colours in recent seasons.
The adidas jersey is a collegiate blue colour with red club crest and three stripes on the sleeves.

There is also a 'Red Devils' detail visible on the inside of the shirt.
The replica shirt is priced on the official United online shop at £60, with the shorts £30 for adults and £25 for kids, and the socks £13.

That means the full adult replica kit will cost fans £103.
An 'authentic' version of the kit identical to that worn by the players is also available priced at £89.95 for the shirt and £35 for the shorts.

  MIDDLESBROUGH
HOME KIT
It's been a while since we last saw Middlesbrough in the Premier League but it's been even longer since the Championship runners-up featured blue on their home kit.
While a finish behind Burnley secured a passage back to the top flight for the first time since 2009, you have to back to 2000 for the last time blue and white added complimentary trim to he traditional red.
It comes in the form of a diagonal white panel on the lower half of the shirt, and while the half-hearted sash is not going to be to everyone's taste, it at least represents something different from adidas.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10

Middlesbrough's new home kit on their return to the Premier League features blue for the first time since 2000
AWAY KIT
If Middlesbrough supporters don't take to the lower half sash on the front of the home kit, they may take a liking to the away strip
Like the Chelsea shirt, the adidas stripes feature down the side of the strip rather than the sleeves but the indigo and bright cyan chevron is a nice compliment to the otherwise navy kit (bright blue socks aside).
Chevrons are more rugby league but adidas have pulled this off nicely and we just about give it a nod over the home kit.

SOUTHAMPTON
HOME KIT AND AWAY KIT
Southampton are all set for a new look this season, with a change of manager and a shake-up of their playing squad following the departures of Sadio Mane and Victor Wanyama.
And they will be showing off a new look in terms of what they wear too, as the south-coast club revealed their new kit on Tuesday.
In their first season under Claude Puel, Saints have also entered into a new partnership with kit supplier Under Armour, with striking results.

  STOKE CITY
HOME KIT
It's all change for Stoke City as the Britannia Stadium becomes the Bet365 Stadium from next season, while Macron also takes over as the kit supplier from Warrior Sports.
Thankfully though the Potters will maintain their red and white stripes, with the standard change of white becoming the middle stripe one of few changes to the new home kit.
Macron do add a white collar to the home design though as Mark Hughes' team look to push on from their ninth place Premier League finish.

AWAY KIT
The Potters also quickly unveiled their new away kit following the home strip, and it makes up for the slight lack of originality perhaps show in the home strip.
There isn't an awful lot in terms of design but the all-baby blue kit complimented by white trim will arguably one of the better away kits released over the summer.
So for a Potters fan perhaps tired of unoriginal red and white stripes to wear down the Britannia St...sorry...Bet365 Stadium, Macron's first away kit for Mark Hughes' team might be worthy of investment.

Macron's first away kit for Stoke City will be an all-baby blue colour strip complimented by white trim

  SUNDERLAND
HOME KIT
Fancy a game of spot the difference?

Well then compare Sunderland's new home strip to the one they wore last season.
Aside from the addition or red sleeves and black trim being replaced by gold, you'd be hard pressed to fine much more differences beyond subtle ones.
As a stand alone kit it's not that bad but needs more imagination to break away from the 2015-16 strip.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 6/10
The new Sunderland strip features minor updates to the 2015-16 kit, including gold trim and red sleeves
THIRD KIT
Sunderland may have held onto their Premier League status by the skin of their teeth last campaign, but Sam Allardyce's side are determined to make their mark in style in the coming season.
The Black Cats have ensured that if their football doesn't turn heads, their attire will - with a bold new pink and purple third kit.
Their eye-catching new jersey designed by adidas sees pink and purple horizontal stripes on the torso topped with thin diagonal lines of the alternate colour over each strip.
The colours will be the main talking point, but they really don't look that bad - it's the crazy diagonal stripes which take the unique strip a stretch too far.

  SWANSEA CITY
HOME KIT
There has been plenty of changes at Swansea City in the last 12 months.

New manager, new owners and now a brand new home strip.
It's out with adidas as Joma take over supplying the Welsh club's matchday gear and they start by releasing a new design which is perhaps the simplest since the club's top flight promotion in 2011.
The strip contains black detailing with a round, buttoned collar, but as an all-white strip it does scream dull and it isn't helped by the large sponsor logo standing out like a sore thumb.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 6/10
Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton models the club's new home strip which has been designed by Joma
AWAY KIT
Now this is better from Joma.

There is more life to Swansea's away strip for the 2016-17 campaign, with the electric blue number gradually fading into a shade of navy.
The fade links well into the navy shorts too and in a design which can often tread a fine line between tacky and stylish, we believe Joma have produced a neat looking change strip.
It certainly boasts more life than the dull home kit.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
HOME KIT, AWAY KIT AND THIRD KIT
Tottenham Hotspur have revealed their new home, away and third kits for the 2016-17 season.
The White Hart Lane outfit came so close to the Premier League title last season, only to fall just short as surprise package Leicester City took home the top-flight crown.
Now, as Mauricio Pochettino's side look to go one better this time around, the club have released all three of their new strips for the campaign ahead with their third kit a striking gold colour.
The gold colours, which feature on all three kits, are a nod to the cockerels placed on the stands at White Hart Lane.

Spurs are poised to leave the ground temporarily at the end of the season as they begin upgrading the stadium in time for the 2018-19 campaign.

  WATFORD
HOME KIT AND AWAY KIT
After the rather eccentric black and yellow stripes seen on the home kit last season, it's back to basics for Watford who have unveiled a smarter looking strip.
The collar and the buttons which feature on the home and away shirts are a nice touch as is the red stripe as trim to compliment the yellow home kit.
Canadian company Dryworld, who are only six years old, are the designers and while the white away strip lacks imagination it's certainly not a bad overall first effort.

  WEST BROM
HOME KIT
All too often the easy way out to reinvent a kit that plays in stripes is to reverse the stripe order.
And adidas haven't failed to make the most of that opportunity with their sixth West Brom home strip since replacing Umbro in 2010.
But there's a new twist to the Baggies home shirt as for the first time in over 130 years, light blue will feature as a trim colour to blue and white.
It's going to take some getting used too but supporters are likely to appreciate it more than the pin-stripe experiment from 2014.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10

AWAY KIT
Remember that West Brom kit from a couple of years ago that left fans in a fury?

You know, when years of traditional stripes on the home shirt all of a sudden were switched to pin-stripes.
Well that format has returned, only this time it's the away kit getting the pin-stripe treatment and this time fans in the majority are sure to take to it.
Black kits can be very bland but adidas have produced a very smart kit by adding cyan detail and it's one of our favourites heading into the new campaign.

HOME KIT
It's all change at West Ham with the east London outfit christening their move to the Olympic Park with a new home shirt.
The strip was unveiled in front of 500 fans during an exclusive event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with a number of first-team stars on hand to parade the latest kit.
Summer signings Sofiane Feghouli, Havard Nordtveit, Gokhan Tore, Ashley Fletcher, Antonio Martinez and Domingos Quina were joined on stage by captain Mark Noble, Aaron Cresswell, Winston Reid, Michail Antonio and Raphael Spiege.
West Ham have stayed to their true tradition with the Umbro kit being a mix of claret and blue.

AWAY KIT
New stadium, new home, new badge and of course new kits.

It's all change down at West Ham (or Stratford) and the Hammers have unveiled their new away strip  - although this one is highly unlikely to feature at the Olympic Stadium.
The away kit to be worn when the team are on the road is based on throwback to the past glories of West Ham's 1980 FA Cup final victory, and best ever top-flight season in 1986.
