And Eddie Boxshall appeared to make a dig at his ex-girlfriend via Instagram on Saturday, sharing a Story with a voiceover explaining: 'It is so much better to be alone than to be with someone who makes you feel alone'.
The 49-year-old's post comes just a week after Denise went public with her new Italian boyfriend, Jimmy Barba.
Bitter ex?

Back in April, he posted a photograph of his dinner of pie and mash at 's Manze pie shop, adding a cryptic caption where he said: 'there ain't no pleasing you.

And before that, he appeared to brand Denise the 'worst detective in the world', after it was revealed that she found out of his cheating after discovering pictures and messages on his iPad.
He posted a black-and-white image of Inspector Clouseau, who is described as an 'inept and incompetent police detective in the French Sûreté' - and the accompanying caption led many to believe he was alluding to his ex's detective skills.

Denise appears unfazed by the most recent social media slam, as she was spotted doing a DJ set at the Darley July Cup Day of the Moet and Chandon July Festival on Saturday - appearing in high spirits.
And while Eddie appeared to take some time off of the Instagram digs recently, Saturday's Story comes just a week after Denise's pals explained that she 'laughs like she never has before', after going public with her new beau.
Stepping out with her new man Jimmy at the Grand Prix Ball, the pair looked ultra glam as they unveiled their romance.

An Italian reality star, Jimmy became a household name in Italy back in 2010 after starring in the eleventh series of Big Brother (Grande Fratello) where he finished in fourth place. 
What followed was a short-lived pop career, with Jimmy releasing three singles between 2012 and 2013 - although they failed to light up the charts.  
More recently, Jimmy - who described his career as being a dancer and farmer when he appeared on Grande Fratello - has shunned the world of showbiz to become a property developer.
