The Rock Hints Jason Momoa Will Appear In Future Fast Furious Films

Jason Momoa could be in future movies in the Fast & Furious series, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson said.
Johnson, 46, said on that he and the Honolulu, Hawaii native, 39, had made an effort to bring Momoa into the fold for the action series for the upcoming spin-off film Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
'Me and http://www.geocraft.xyz/index.php/WWE_Elimination_Chamber:_Start_Times_And_How_To_Watch Momoa tried hard to get him in this movie to play my brother,' said Johnson, who reprises his role as Luke Hobbs in the film.

'But his schedule was too packed.'

Johnson said that the 'next Hobbs movie for sure' should see Momoa, who's riding a huge Hollywood wave after his feature film Aquaman has made in excess of $1 billion worldwide since its release last month.

Momoa first appeared as the DC character in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and again in 2017's Justice League.
The role went instead to The Rock's fellow WWE star Roman Reigns (whose real name is Leati Joseph Anoa'i).

Johnson on Friday took to Instagram with a shot of himself and Reigns on the set of the forthcoming motion picture.
'Good times droppin' sweat and spillin' blood with my family, @RomanReigns who'll be playing my brother in our FAST & FURIOUS UNIVERSE,' he wrote.

'I'm very proud of his focus, effort and authentic performance in our movie for his very first time on film.'

On the move: The Rock is gearing up promotions for Hobbs & Shaw, which arrives in theaters this summer 
He referenced Reigns' heath battle, as the grappler revealed last October that he was taking a hiatus from in-ring after as he battled leukemia.
'I'm also very grateful to spend this quality time with my cousin here in the islands as he takes life one day at a time to recover from leukemia,' Johnson said.
Reigns on Friday wrote on Instagram, 'The time I‘ve spent with my cousin on this wonderful island has truly been a healing grace,' adding that he was grateful to Johnson, the WWE, Universal Pictures and 'and everyone on the set of HOBBS & SHAW, for allowing me to be a part of this franchise.'

Jason Statham is slated to reprise his role of Deckard Shaw for the David Leitch-directed film, which will also feature Idris Elba, Eiza González, and Eddie Marsan.
Hobbs & Shaw is set to arrive in theaters August 2. 
Momoa also has been starring in the Netflix series Frontier since its debut in 2016.
